Genís Roca (EMBA 02), president of RocaSalvatella, stars in a new session of Matins ESADE, "La revolta digital".

Digital Transformation is not only in business and its processes, it is also in society. And it is not only about new consumer profiles, but also new expectations and demands. The new competitive advantage will not be technology-based but ethical, and related to trust and data.

In this session we will discuss how digital culture is becoming more and more critical than digital technology, and how it is incorporated into business, ideas and teams.

It is not a revolution, it could be a revolt. New rights, new struggles ... from the social economy to the new activism, change the way we try to do business.

 

Genís Roca (EMBA 02)

With more than twenty years of experience in business management, creation of projects on the Internet and exploring the potential of networks. Expert in how digital transformation is altering  personal, professional and business environments.

He is a well-known specialist in digital strategy, analysis of the environment and presence models In his activity, he helps companies understand the Technological changes in key business areas and accompanies them to explore new business opportunities.

He is President of RocaSalvatella, business consulting firm Specialized in the digital transformation of organizations. Chosen in 2013 and 2014 by the newspaper El Mundo as one of the 25 Most influential Spaniards on the Internet because of their ability to interpret technological and socioeconomic changes.

He co-authored the first book Published in Spain about the phenomenon of Web 2.0.
