Za'atari refugee camp is home to more than 80,000 Syrians.

Can you imagine more than 80,000 people in a single refugee camp? There are more than 55 million refugees / displaced persons around the globe. Can you imagine what it would be like if the entire population of the Iberian peninsula lived in refugee camps? Four million people have fled just Syria to escape the terrors of war. We are running the risk of losing a whole generation of young people, destabilising the region forever, and perpetuating the cycle of violence and poverty. Meanwhile, some racists are trying to make the West clash with Islam and convince us that all Syrian refugees are terrorists.

Salam (Hello) Neighbor is a documentary that simply aims to give the world an insight into the everyday drama of millions of Syrians.

Chris and Zach are two young people that move to Jordan to live in the Za'atari camp and provide an insight into the harsh reality of refugees. They are the first people authorised to film there. They settle down in a tent like the other refugees and are plunged into one of the greatest humanitarian crises of today.  A moving tale that films the refugees with great sensitivity and reveals how solidarity between neighbours in the camp is the key to survival.

Joining us will be Teresa Sancristoval, head of the Emergency Unit of Médicos Sin Fronteras (MSF).

MSF has mounted a rescue operation in the Mediterranean. ''MSF could not sit back and do nothing. Last year, 3,500 people died trying to reach Europe. This is tragic and unacceptable. So far this year, more than 1,900 people have died on the central Mediterranean route. Europe has turned its back on the people drowning in the Mediterranean and we will do everything in our power to make things change.''

The film will be shown in the original version without subtitles
