Alumni Entrepreneurship and the ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute invite you to the talk scheduled for April 22nd entitled "Learning with Stephanie Marrus", Entrepreneurship Educator and Silicon Valley Business Consultant.
Stephanie Marrus directs the Entrepreneurship Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She builds programs to help scientists, clinicians and technologists commercialize their inventions. Stephanie educates, coaches and brings in industry participants to enrich the start-up culture. She is responsible for marketing UCSF's Innovation, Technology and Alliance group. Stephanie is also a business consultant for high-potential, entrepreneurial, science- and technology-based companies. Areas of specialty include business development, business planning, strategy, corporate development, partnering, M&A, licensing, fundraising, marketing, market research and communications. She is an expert in business strategy, creating opportunities and visibility, assessing opportunities, marketing programs, negotiating business development and M&A transactions, corporate communications and investor relations. She is affiliated with Stanford's Technology Ventures Program. Stephanie formerly served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business and an adjunct faculty member at Berkeley's Center for Entrepreneurship in Technology. An accomplished writer, Stephanie has been published in the Wall Street Journal and The Scientist magazine.
