At this session organised by the ESADE Alumni Marketing Club, Marc Cortés (MBA ‘99), Lecturer in the Department of Marketing Management at ESADE and Director of RocaSalvatella Net Strategies, will present his new book, which he wrote in collaboration with Enrique Burgos, the publisher’s Director of Relationship Marketing. The book discusses how to apply Web 2.0 tools to marketing as tools for increasing customer loyalty.

Published in Spanish by Netbiblo, the book introduces new media, new formats, and new ways of approaching and interacting with consumers. The book’s practical tips are not technology-heavy. Instead, they focus on people and the best ways to use new tools (e.g. blogs, social networks, nanoblogs, RSS feeds and social bookmarks). Its ultimate aim is to help companies comprehend and navigate these new environments. The book begins by introducing the concept of relationship marketing, and then describes new tools offered by the Internet, how they work and how they can be put to use. The book ends with the presentation of a social media plan, which can guide readers as they put an Internet-presence model into effect.
