ESADE and Deloitte are pleased to invite you to the second session of the 11th ESADE-Deloitte Lecture Series, ''Family Businesses of the 21st Century: Challenges and Opportunities''.

Adolfo Domínguez is one of the world’s top auteur design firms and the only such firm in Spain where the designer remains the majority shareholder. Having celebrated its 40th anniversary last year, the company now has 490 stores in 30 countries and 1,405 employees worldwide.

Since its IPO in 1997, Adolfo Domínguez has been the dean of the Spanish fashion world on the stock market. In 2017, the company saw a 62% increase in the value of its shares. Following a management shakeup in August 2016, sales have risen for six quarters in a row.

At this session, Adriana Domínguez, CEO of the company since July 2017, will explain the reasons for the company’s current renewal efforts. In her opinion, “We need to change in order to remain different.”
