The ESADE Alumni Peru Chapter, together with Pacífico Business School (PBS) and Emprende UPis pleased to invite you to the presentation of the report ‘The digital revolution: a response to the great challenges facing the world’, during which leading companies and organisations will discuss how digital social innovation in Latin America can contribute to achieving the UN’s ambitious targets of sustainable development.
The instant transmission of information and the ability to quickly transform data into intelligence have given rise to new trends and new business models in all sectors. In an ever-growing digital economy, the ability to pinpoint specific examples of how digital media can be incorporated into the search for solutions to social issues constitutes an exciting challenge for entrepreneurial environments in Latin American. In particular, the innovative entrepreneurial ecosystem has enabled a great many initiatives with an impact on digital social innovation to be developed and scaled up – initiatives that are a great opportunity for solving the challenges still facing the region.
We will count with the presence of David Murillo, professor at the Institute of Social Innovation of ESADE, co-author of the report ' The digital revolution: a response to the great challenges facing the world' and professor of PBS. In addition, at the round table, will participate Maria Laura Cuya, CEO and founder of Innovafunding; Jontxu Pardo, CIO of Innovafunding; and Luis Jose Giove, head of Emprende UP, the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center of the Universidad del Pacífico.
A panel of experts will take part in this session.
