Funding, banking and investment advice for start-ups

This talk organised by ESADE Alumni Entrepreneurship and Banco Sabadell will give start-ups useful advice about how to meet their basic funding and investment needs and will teach participants how to approach banks and business angels. This event will take place on Monday, 18 March 2018 at 19:00 at ESADE Barcelona (av. Pedralbes, 60-62), and the speakers will be Marta Campillo, programme co-ordinator and analyst of BStartup 10 at Banco Sabadell, and Roger Blanch, BStartup advisor at Banco Sabadell.

The talk will include a thorough analysis of the checklist used when submitting this type of proposal (business plan, investor’s deck, treasury plan, useful metrics and cap table, to name but a few).

Marta Campillo
Marta Campillo (ESADE Executive MBA 17) has 7 years’ experience in business and project management related to entrepreneurship and innovation. She is used to working with tech companies at the start-up and growth stages, advising them about their strategy, roadmap and business model, and helping them access private funding, develop high-impact business plans that speak the language of investors, and make robust financial forecasts.

Roger Blanch
Industrial engineer (Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña), BBA and bank business expert post-grad course (Universidad de Barcelona). His expertise and early career are related to banking. Roger has worked for several leading international firms and broadened his career at Banco Sabadell, where he is now the BStartup advisor for the Catalonia and Southern Spain area.
