What is “Moonshot Innovation”? Why is it relevant for organizations these days? How can we make the most of it in the age of artificial intelligence?

After the huge success of our last event "Are you ready for 2030?", we are ready to take the 2018-19 academic year by storm starting with the following session.

ESADE Executive Education and the ESADE Alumni Zurich Chapter are pleased to invite you to a session by Ivan Bofarull on 27th September. Ivan is the director of Global Insights & New Strategic Initiatives at ESADE, and the academic director of "The Journey to Business Transformation", an executive programme delivered in Silicon Valley in partnership with Singularity University.

Ivan Bofarull will take us on a journey to unlearn previous assumptions about businesses and organisations, by unlocking the possibilities of moonshot thinking, and offering a structured pathway for moonshot innovation, or what he regards as "the new laws of innovation", which might have an impact on each manager’s job in forthcoming years.

Ivan Bofarull teaches disruptive innovation and "moonshot" innovation for business transformation in top executive programmes at ESADE and is a frequent speaker about innovation and the future of education in a number of global conferences (TEDx, Mobile World Congress, Lego Education, World Open Innovation conf., etc.). He received the ESADE Educational Innovation award in 2017 and he forecasts the future of higher education and the strategic impact of exponential technologies on learning. Since 2011, Ivan Bofarull has also been a visiting advisor at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in Washington, DC, where he advises on the future of education.

Ivan Bofarull has a bachelor in business and an MBA from ESADE Business School and has completed a number of leadership and executive programmes at ESADE, the Aspen Institute and Singularity U. He always likes to say that his three main sources of inspiration for moonshot innovation are his wife Eva and his two children Dante and Galileo.
