Don’t miss this simulation organised by Alumni Entrepreneurship on May 28th in conjunction with Roca Junyent, for entrepreneurs looking for private investment.

Finding finance can be one of an entrepreneur’s most complicated tasks. This session aims to provide a hands-on insight into how to bargain with potential investors to reach the best agreement. We’ll be looking at the most common aspects of bargaining, the main legal considerations and their consequences. The session will be based on a case study provided by Roca Junyent.

The session will be led by Fede Segura, partner in the Mercantile Law Department at Roca Junyent, SLP, and partner in charge of the Entrepreneur Assistance Department. He provides legal advice for entrepreneurs and investors interested in investing in start-ups, and provides guidance for start-ups taking part in early to A-series rounds of investment. He is the board secretary of many of these companies. Segura is also an expert in crowd funding and has played an active role in Spain’s new crowd funding regulations. He is a consultant for crowd funding platforms and the companies and investors that channel their investments through this alternative funding system.

Roca Junyent is one of Spain’s leading law firms with more than 230 lawyers in Spain and in the international sphere working from the firm’s own offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Lleida, Girona and Shanghai, and alliances with the best law firms outside Spain. This firm and several of its colleagues have been acclaimed by the most prestigious law journals including Chambers, Legal 500 and Best Lawyer International.
