The Mentoring Programme for ESADE Alumni members covers issues regarding your career through mentoring alumni, professionals with experience in a given field and through information pooling with other alumni.

- Mentor: Any member of ESADE Alumni can be a mentor. The requirements are a willingness to provide pro bono help and to have sufficient professional experience to give useful advice.
- Mentee: any member of ESADE Alumni can be a mentee, providing there is a voluntary mentor available to meet the applicant's needs.
- ESADE Career Service: This service co-ordinates the programme and monitors its quality. It also has the power to cancel provision where the service terms are breached.
» HOW TO BE A MENTOR:
You should become a tutor If you: (1) are interested in providing free mentoring services to other students; (2) you consider you have valuable experience that could be passed on to others; (3) wish to support ESADE's alumni network. Your verbal commitment is enough - no contractual relationship will be entered into. You can take up or drop mentoring services whenever you wish.
1. Fill in the form. From this point on, you will be included in the mentoring database.
2. If someone makes an application for mentoring that could draw upon your experience, the Career Service will send you information on the candidate mentee before providing your contact details. As mentor, you will decide whether your experience is sufficient to help the mentee. In other words, you and you alone decide whether or not to accept a candidate.
3. Each mentee has a three-month spell with his or her mentor. The mentee may have an interview with the mentor either in person or by 'phone three times during this period, unless the mentor allows more contact.
4. Mentors should reply within two weeks to the mentee's requests.
5. Should you wish to break contact with your mentee for whatever reason or to drop out of the programme, you only need contact ESADE's Career Service to do so.
6. Once the mentoring has ceased, you must fill in a short evaluation question on the programme to the Career Service.
MENTORS FOR ENTREPRENEURS:
Do you have experience in entrepreneurship projects? Would you like to help another entrepreneurs to develop their start-ups?
A mentor is an expert who helps and advises the entrepreneur project in term of product, strategy, business model, finance, and helping the project in its early stages of development. The mentor has not the compromise to make any investment in the project, but provides their time, dedication, experience and expertise to entrepreneurs.
Mentors can be entrepreneurs who have founded companies and now are success stories, but are also experts in their field who can advise on any particular area of entrepreneurship. They help talented entrepreneurs and encourage the creation and generation of new innovative companies.
» HOW TO BECOME A MENTEE:
If you are a member of ESADE Alumni, you are entitled to a mentor providing one is available who meets your particular needs.
1. Fill in the form. Henceforth, you will be included in the mentee database.
2. From this point on, the Career Service will assign you a mentor, providing one meeting your needs is available.
3. Once you have contacted your mentor, he or she will have two weeks to give you an answer. If your mentor does not do so, you should notify the Career Service.
4. As mentee, you may use your mentor for three months from the date on which he or she was assigned to you. You may phone or meet your mentor up to three times during this period, unless the mentor decides to give you greater access.
5. It is up to the mentor to decide what kind and quantity of information to provide you with. In no event is he or she obliged to offer you work or hire you. The extent of the help provided is left entirely to your mentor's discretion.
7. Once the mentoring has ceased, you must fill in a short evaluation question on the programme to the Career Service.
