The Esade Alumni San Francisco Chapter would like to invite you their “Founders insights about how to build high-growth companies” event. Come meet our guest speakers Jan Brinckmann, director of the Esade Entrepreneurship Lab and academic director of the Esade Master of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Andrew N. Green, Partner at Andreessen Horowitz one of the world’s top Venture Capital funds on Wednesday, January 8th.

Dr. Jan Brinckmann will be in San Francisco with a group of students visiting the local start-up scene and will join us for the evening on Wednesday. 

This is a great opportunity to learn about the dynamics behind high-growth ventures, make new connections with our Esade Alumni and current students, and enjoy a wonderful evening together!

 

Dr Jan Brinckmann

Dr Jan Brinckmann is a professor of entrepreneurship and strategy in the ESADE Business School’s strategy and general management department. He is the director of the Entrepreneurship Lab on the ESADE MBA Program and director of ESADE’s own accelerator. Before coming to ESADE, he taught at Loyola University Chicago and Cornell University and was a visiting scholar at Stanford University and Case Western Reserve University. Dr Brinckmann founded and heads Karma Ventures, a high-tech venture investment and advisory holding. He is a board member at Aklamio, Pridatect, ValueDesk, ModelManagement, Margin.io, Semalytix and was board member of Red Points and Kviar Groupe. High growth company investments include Aklamio, Bloobirds, Club Kviar, First Stop Health, Icebergs, Juniqe, Margin, Model Management, Pinterest, Pridatect and Red Points. His mission is to empower entrepreneurs.

 

Andrew N. Green

Andrew started his first venture-backed consumer technology company at the age of 18. He is an entrepreneurial operator and go-to-market specialist with extensive product, brand development, marketing, games, live operations, IP management, and business development experience. He leads teams, built businesses, and created hits at companies like TinyCo (acquired by Jam City / 6 years), Electronic Arts (5.5 years), Miramax Films (1.5 years) and more. Andrew is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz. Andreesen Horowitz was founded in 2009 by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz. Andreessen Horowitz (known as "a16z") is a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley, California that backs bold entrepreneurs building the future through technology with 10 bio in assets under management.
