Conferencia | Spanish

February 27 OF 2020 from 07:00 PM to 08:30 PM

Data has become the “gold” of the 21st century. Companies that know how to use data and apply artificial intelligence (AI) – among other techniques – in their decision-making will enjoy a competitive advantage.

This talk by Mónica Villas, organised by the Esade Alumni Business Innovation and Technologies Club, will explore the importance of understanding AI at every level of the company, why it is being applied now, the social and ethical impact of this technology, and what challenges it poses now and for the future.

Mónica Villas is a renowned AI expert who has built a career at IBM, where she has served as the company’s top technical executive. She has more than 20 years of technology experience with AI, cloud storage, big data and blockchain. In collaboration with other professionals in the field, she created OdiseIA, an observatory on the social impact of AI.

*This is an exclusive session for Esade Alumni members. Each member may bring one guest. Snacks and drinks will be served to all attendees during the session.
