The ESADE Alumni Community of Valencia Club is pleased to invite you to ''Digitalisation as a cornerstone of banking'', a talk by Pere Nebot, CIO of CaixaBank.
Customer habits are changing and banks must adapt to these changes. The CaixaBank approach is to guide these new customer habits and use digitalisation as a lever to carry on transforming society, whilst always letting customers decide how and when they want to interact with the bank.
Pere Nebot
Pere Nebot is the Corporate Director of Computer Services (CIO IT Services) at CaixaBank. Pere holds a degree in computer science from UPC University (BCN), a financial degree from ESADE (BCN) and a management and leadership degree from IESE (BCN). Pere has also finished an MSc in finance (Banking Management) at the University of London. Pere has been working at CaixaBank, the leading bank in Spain, since 1999. Currently, he is the CIO of CaixaBank and he is in charge of the IT Services department at the Barcelona headquarters. Previously, he was in charge of the Information Systems department, he served as the director of electronic channels, treasury and electronic payments, credit card IT department. He works on developing the CaixaBank information systems, searching for innovation in order to take advantage of new technologies. Pere has also collaborated with La Caixa Foundation, working with the international cooperation programme on social development international activities.
