The ESADE Alumni Girona Club invites you to ''The Business of Cycling'' a talk by Chris Williams, a professional cyclist with Team Novo Nordisk.
In this talk, Chris Williams, a member of Team Novo Nordisk will talk about the cycling poor business compared to other sports. About how the TNN started and the goals of its teams . You’ll learn about his story and how he became to be on the team. Team Novo Nordisk is a global all-diabetes sports team of cyclists, triathletes and runners, spearheaded by the world’s first all-diabetes professional cycling team.
Chris Williams
Chris Williams is a professional cyclist from Australia with Team Novo Nordisk. He is currently in his 6th year as a professional, however, Team Novo Nordisk differs in one slight respect from other professional teams. Every rider, including Chris, has been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. With a mission to educate, empower and inspire people affected by diabetes around the world, the team and Chris offer a unique view into a sport that is often otherwise driven by commercial gain.
