This ESADE Alumni Career Services flash session is your chance to discover how to cultivate a healthy mind with a longer attention span and more in tune with others: the road to less stressful, more balanced work.

In keeping with previous sessions about the pros and cons of mindfulness for 21st-century executives, this session will examine leadership in today’s world of enormous volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. How can we become aware of opportunities without being frightened by threats? How can we do our very best without sacrificing our health, values or personal life? How can we inspire others to exceed their own expectations?

The first step is to become deliberately aware of yourself and your possibilities by using Mindfulness to train your resilience, temper and benevolence. Recent discoveries in neuroscience have demonstrated how cultivating a healthy mind gives people greater satisfaction and enables them to live life to the full. There is also evidence that the natural benevolence and greatness inherent in humans can be pinpointed and cultivated. The workshop will provide practical examples of how Mindfulness can be applied at work and give the audience the chance to experience Mindfulness first hand.

This session is part of the Wellness series organised this year by the ESADE Alumni Career Service.
