The ESADE Alumni Insurance Club invites you to this talk entitled ''Demographic change in Spain: its impact on pensions and the welfare state''.

On March 1st 2017, the Spanish senate set up a special committee to analyse demographic change.
The mission of the committee is to study issues such as the aging population, policies governing equality, family and healthcare, and any areas that ensure a sustainable future and better standard of living for Spaniards.

During this talk, Mr Ignacio Cosido will present the progress made by this committee and its mission.

Also taking part will be Mrs Carolina España, spokesperson of Spain’s Popular Party for the Pacto de Toledo agreement, who will explain the work of this committee and its future goals.
