ESADE Alumni is pleased to invite you to a Desayunos Esade talk by Silvio González Moreno, CEO of Atresmedia Corporación and patron of the Atresmedia Foundation, entitled "Television: The Media King".
Silvio González Moreno
Born in Madrid in 1957. Graduated in economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. Silvio started work in 1981 at SINTEL, a subsidiary of Telefónica, until 1983 when he joined the COPE radio station as manager and director of finance. In 1986 he joined the SER radio station as director of finance and from 1989 to 1990 he worked in the same company as a manager. In 1990 he entered CANAL+ as managing director. In 1992 he joined the COPE radio station as managing director where he remained until 1997.
In September of that year, he was appointed deputy managing director of TELEMADRID, until his appointment in April 1998 as managing director of the public-sector corporation RADIO TELEVISIÓN MADRID, where he remained until joining ONO as managing director in February 2001.
In June 2003 he joined the management team of ATRESMEDIA as the general director of management. In July 2008 he was appointed CEO, the position he still holds.
