Customer behaviour is constantly evolving in both B2C and B2B environments. The consumer buying process is a challenge for all suppliers. Many companies try to adapt, but not many manage to anticipate events. The key factor is still customer relations, and against the backdrop of this stormy environment, the sales team remains at the helm.

The sales department must deal with complex, ever-changing scenarios. The digital transformation of its function is based on developing powerful channel intelligence able to deal with unprecedented complexity. Sales team digitisation requires not only technology but an on-going re-evolution of its function with a back-to-basics mindset.

Raimon Mirosa

Raimon Mirosa is a professor and academic director in the Esade marketing department. He teaches and manages open and custom programmes in the fields of sales and marketing. He is currently the senior consultant of sales execution and strategy, and has held been a general manager, sales manager and key account manager in several companies in the food, finance and industrial sectors, in charge of extensive, nationwide sales networks. Raimon has taught at several outstanding business schools. He holds a degree in law and an Executive MBA (Esade).
