The ESADE Alumni Italy Chapter and Startup Grind Milano would like to invite you to a Fireside Chat with Adam D'Angelo, Founder and CEO of Quora on July 7th at 7.30pm.

Quora is a place to gain and share knowledge. It’s a platform for asking questions and connecting with people able to contribute unique insights and quality answers. This empowers people to learn from each other and to understand the world better.  Quora is headquartered in Mountain View, CA.

It will be a very special night: we will hear how Adam left his job as chief technology officer at Facebook and raised $226M in 4 rounds by convincing Peter Thiel, Y Combinator and Dustin Moskovitz to invest in his idea.

Adam D’Angelo

Adam D'Angelo is the co-founder and CEO of Quora, the Q&A platform that empowers people to share and grow the world's knowledge. Since 2009, Quora has grown and now has over 200 million unique visitors each month from around the world. He previously served as chief technology officer at Facebook, where he oversaw new product development and managed the engineering team. In addition, he guided the site’s architecture and infrastructure and started the company's growth team. Prior to serving as CTO, he led the Facebook Platform team and, as an engineer, built the initial infrastructure for news feed and the first generation of the company's advertising targeting and delivery systems. Adam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology.
