The ESADE Alumni Senior Club is organising a guided tour of the Segura Viudas wine cellars. Beginning in the vineyards, participants will find out first hand about the life cycle of the vine, vine growing techniques and the natural surroundings, and take a short walk around the vineyard to see the different views of the property and the Penedés area. There will be a visit to the winery, with explanations of how it was built, and participants will then go down into the underground cellars to discover how cava is made.
The tour will end with a tasting session of two types of cava accompanied by cured sausage, cheese and crisps. During the tasting, the characteristics of the two cavas will be explained to enable participants to appreciate their characteristics and differences.
