Hike and lunch in the Serranos area

Spanish

May 20 OF 2017 from 09:30 AM to 05:00 PM

If you like nature and getting out of your comfort zone, don’t miss this great hike organised by the ESADE Alumni Community of Valencia Club through the Serranos area, a natural setting with stretches of dense vegetation along a river where participants can cool off or even have a swim. We will also cross a Roman aqueduct and enjoy breathtaking views from the Water viewpoint.

This circular route includes five landmarks:

1. The Roman tunnels and viaduct
2. Peña Cortada
3. Roman aqueduct
4. Arrabal mosque and Jewish quarter in Chelva
5. Viewpoint on the water route

To recuperate after the hike we’ll have lunch at La Aldea restaurant: a menu of six hors d’oeuvre dishes made of the season’s produce.

The outing will last about 4 hours, with several stops to rest, have a drink and enjoy the wonderful surroundings.

A chance to escape city stress and enjoy a wonderful setting in great company.

Meeting point: Take the CV-35 motorway towards Ademuz. At approximately Km 60, take the Calles exit. Cross the bridge over the river Tuejar, turn left and drive down to the large car park by the river where you can park and start the route.
