'How to achieve traction with e-commerce' with Joan Gallego, CEO at

ESADE Alumni Entrepreneurship is holding a workshop about e-commerce projects at ESADE Barcelona (Av. Pedralbes 60-62) on Monday, February 5th 2018 at 19:00 led by Joan Gallego, CEO at, an e-commerce selling products for DIY and home improvements.

This workshop will reveal how to achieve the first initial metrics in an e-commerce project and their impact on the income statement. When should a marketing budget be increased? Find out about the relationship between the cost of acquisition marketing concept and the operating account of an e-commerce.


Tuandco is a 100% Spanish on-line e-commerce selling products for DIY and home improvements. The company was founded in late 2013 by Jordi Mercader and Joan Gallego (current CEO).
The website features a catalogue of more than 50,000 products for bathrooms, kitchens, heating, plumbing, hardware, gardens, pools and electricity at prices 30% lower than on the high street. The baseline of the project’s value proposition is to be all-inclusive: on-line sales, professional content and specialised advice about buying and installation. Everything users need to complete their projects.

Joan Gallego

Joan Gallego is a co-founder and the CEO of Tuandco, an e-commerce specialised in DIY products. This entrepreneur in e-commerce since 2014 is passionate about marketing and the new business models enabled by digital transformation. Currently, he also teaches at business schools on e-marketing and ecommerce programmes. Before Tuandco he was the managing director of a distribution company. He holds a BBA (Ramón Llull University), a post-grad in marketing (Pompeu Fabra University), a PDG (ESADE) and an Executive Master in Digital Business (ESADE).
