Most people think that they deserve more for their work than their salary or general working conditions suggest. Many people feel they are underpaid, but few are willing to do anything about it. When, for example, was the last time you asked for a wage increase and got one? When was the last time you changed companies and negotiated your salary and other benefits well? This session is your chance to learn how and when to negotiate the salary you deserve.
Debunk the myths of salary negotiations. Pinpoint the most common mistakes and the techniques of effective negotiators. Find out about the criteria and methods that companies apply to wage bargaining and salary policies.
This session will be chaired by Pablo Tovar, director of AddVenture. He has been working in people management since 1991, as both an HR manager and executive coach and management consultant. Expert in leadership, salaries and strategic change for management teams and organisations. The second illustrated and enlarged edition of his well-known book, ¿Cuánto quieres cobrar?, was published recently.
