The ESADE Alumni Finance Club and the ESADE Alumni Digital Business Club are pleased to invite you to their forthcoming talk: “IBM Global C-Suite Study 2018: Incumbents strike back”.

During this talk, Alfred Escala (MDAE 86), vice president in charge of industries and business development for IBM Spain, Portugal, Greece and Israel, will outline the findings of the IBM Global C-suite study 2018. The results of this study, based on more than 12,500 interviews with CXOs around the globe, show that the uncertainty caused by the emergence of start-ups and digital business is no longer the main worry of traditional firms and that the most successful companies are the ones that have gradually adapted their capabilities and value propositions to the demands of a new era by:

 

•Incorporating AI capabilities.
•Using data as a strategic tool for engaging with customers.
•creating value platforms through their ecosystems
•Creating an environment in which the knowledge and capabilities of their employees and organisations. are constantly improved.

 

 

Alfred will complement the findings of the study with case studies involving the finance industry and other sectors.
