Excellent communication is essential for success. A great idea is not enough: clear, convincing communication is a must.

During this 4-hour, hands-on workshop organised by ESADE Alumni Careers, you will learn how to improve the way you communicate by public presentations.

During the workshop, each participant will give a presentation and then receive individual feedback about its form and content to help them improve their public speaking skills.The director of this workshop, professor Marga Martí of ESADE’s Department of People and Organisation Management, will examine different public speaking techniques and explain how to manage nonverbal communication more naturally and avoid stage fright.

Participants must bring along an audiovisual presentation (max. 2 or 3 minutes) prepared beforehand in PowerPoint or similar.

Marga Martí Ripoll

PhD in Psychology and professor in ESADE’s Department of People and Organization Management. Expert in leadership, public communication techniques, bargaining, mediation and conflict management in the organisational context. Her consultancy activities include coaching for team leaders and public speaking techniques for senior management. Her professional experience includes executive education and university teaching, leadership consulting, conflict management and research about leadership.
