Innovation and entrepreneurship in the legal profession

ESADE Alumni Careers is holding a flash session by Eva Bruch and Jordi Estalella exclusively for members of the legal profession.

The aim of this session is to equip lawyers to think disruptively and be able to put their ideas into practice.

Main areas to be covered:

-    The enterprising lawyer: unlearning old methods
-    Disruptive thinking
-    Roles of the innovative lawyer
-    Ways of finding and checking out business ideas
-    Business development inside and outside the law firm
-    Decisions to ensure a successful career as an enterprising lawyer.

 

Eva Bruch

Degree in law. PhD in communication (UAB) and MBA (EADA). Teacher at UPF. Professor of marketing on the Access to the Legal Profession master at UB - ICAB. Eva has worked as a lawyer at Morison ACPM and the Pi Costa law firm. Author of the book Tendencias, Marketing e Innovación en el sector jurídico (Ed. La Ley), co-author of Reflexiones sobre la importancia de la gestión en los despachos de abogados (Ed. Thomson Reuters) and New Law New Rules: a conversation about the future of the legal industry (Beaton Capital).

 

Jordi Estalella

Jordi holds a degree in law, a master in business and institutional communication (EADA), and completed the Strategy and Innovation Program (Sloan School of Management, MIT). He has worked as a lawyer for fifteen years. Professor of law firm management and innovation at UOC and professor and coordinator of law firm management, part of the Access to the Legal Profession course at ISDE. Author of the books El Abogado eficaz (La Ley, 4th ed., 2015) and La venta de servicios jurídicos (La Ley, 2016).
