'Investment structure in today's international tax environment', by academic assistant Francisco Lavandera

Programa de continuidad | Spanish

September 20 OF 2016 from 08:30 AM to 10:00 AM

ESADE Alumni invites you to "Investment structure in today’s international tax environment", a talk in the Law Refresher Programme by Francisco Lavandera, academic assistant in the Law Department.

International legislative activity in particular and, more recently, the legislation fostered by the OECD together with its work in the BEPS project, have radically changed the rules governing international taxation. Spain’s tax authorities have diligently adopted the recommendations made by international institutions and implemented a considerable reform of Spain’s own regulations concerning key issues in the area of international taxation.

This talk will examine how these regulations have changed in recent years and their impact on how investors now structure their international investments and their business operations in general. Several traditional types and structures of investment will be analysed to show how they are affected by new regulations.
