The ESADE Alumni Lleida Club invites you to ''Learning from the best,'' a talk by Francisco Alcaide Hernández, speaker, coach and writer about leadership and motivation.
We all have dreams but many people give up half way and fail to make their dreams come true. The immediate question about people who achieve the results we want to achieve is: what do they do or what has happened to them? Success leaves tracks and clues, and people able to identify these tracks and clues have more chance of personal success. ''Learning from the best'' is the result of more than fifteen years of in-depth study of people who have achieved extraordinary results in the world of leadership, personal development, entrepreneurship, finance and sport.
In this session, two leading businessmen will explain the personal and professional career paths that have taken them to where they are today.

Francisco Alcaide
Francisco Alcaide has a degree in Business Administration and Management, a degree in Law, a master's degree in Banking and Finance, and a PhD in Business Organization. Author of eight books including the best-seller ''Learning from the Best'' (Alienta), now in its 11th edition with more than 25,000 copies sold. This is the only book by a Spanish author among the top 25 international business and personal development books along with Daniel Goleman, Warren Buffett and Jack Welch.
Regular contributor to the media. More than a hundred articles for the press and specialized journals, and several awards. Patron of the Helping by Doing Foundation which organises responsible events to help achieve corporate goals by providing support for social entities.
Sergi Velez
Sergi Velez is the CEO of Nest Capital, a corporate holding with more than 15 years’ experience consisting of architects, town planners, project managers, lawyers, etc, who provide comprehensive investment and real estate services. He graduated as an architect from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and as a construction engineer from La Salle. Master in Urban Planning Management (UAB) and Master for Project Managers (UB). Managing director of the UVE Group for many years.
