How do you position yourself in the job market? Do you know what message you convey? Do you know what your personal brand is?
Participants in this ESADE Alumni Careers workshop will learn how to improve their personal strategy by defining key factors such as their competitive edge, niche, distinguishing features and business model, to name but a few.
It is essential to pinpoint what you want to share with your target audience in order to define your message. The concepts of personal brand profile, personal brand statement, claim and elevator pitch will be clarified to create a well defined message. We will then analyse how it can be applied to traditional media communications. The last part of the workshop will focus on taking advantage of digital communication methods to convey value proposals effectively (web and personal blog, social media, SEO and SEM, and other e-marketing tools).
Xavi Roca (Lic&MBA 98)
During his 20 years’ professional experience, Xavi has combined business management
(Lamolla (1998 – 2000), Fira de Lleida (2004 - 2008), Ros Roca SRN (2008 – 2009) and SAGE Eurowin (2009 – 2013)) with consulting and entrepreneurship. He is currently a board member at Aritmos. In the year 2001, he founded his own marketing consultancy, Smart Marketing (www.smartmarketing.es). In the 18 years since then, he has provided marketing support for more than one hundred companies and institutions.
He is also a founding partner of Menorca Millenials SL and Torret Road SL, two companies that focus on advice and investment for technology start-ups.
