'Multi-speed IT in a Digital World', by Ezio Armando

English

November 07 OF 2016 from 07:30 PM to 09:00 PM

The ESADE Alumni Digital Business & ICT Club invites you to this talk entitled ''Multi-speed IT in a Digital World'' by Ezio Armando, Managing Director and Master Technology Architect at Accenture.

Business today uses IT at different speeds simultaneously. Innovation and digital disruption require a quick response, legacy systems call for deliberate care, and changing operating models need a pace of change somewhere in between.

Two speeds are no longer enough for the modern IT organization. Unless CIOs can master the art of delivering change at the pace necessary for each area of business, they risk being relegated to tending legacy systems.

Multi-speed IT is achieved by bringing together a network of skills, instituting a dynamic operating model and installing flexible governance models. The challenge is great, but the reward for the CIO is a pivotal role in an organization’s strategic business agenda.
