Debora Revoltella

Debora Revoltella has been the director of the economics department  at the European Investment Bank since April 2011. The department provides impact-driven economic analysis to support the bank’s operations and global positioning, and also its policy and strategy definition. The economics department is also in charge of the EIB Report on Results which assesses the impact of projects financed by the EIB during various mandates.

Debora holds a degree in economics and a master in economics (Bocconi University) and also a PhD in economics (University of Ancona, Italy). She managed a team of 40 economists in charge of supporting the institution during its regional growth strategy. During that period, the department developed into a leading research centre for the region.

Debora is a member of the steering committees of the Vienna Initiative and CompNet, an alternate board member of the Joint Vienna Institute, and a board member of SUERF and the Euro 50 Group.
