Private Equity: Where Are We in the Cycle?

Conferencia | Spanish

March 24 OF 2020 from 09:00 AM to 10:30 AM

DEFERRED EVENT. Soon we will inform you of the new date

The Esade Alumni Finance Club is organising an event where we will analyse the current state of the private equity sector, the evolution of the sector over the past few months and the various market trends that affect it.

In 2019, the Spanish private equity sector set new records for both volume and number of investments. At the global level, after a considerable decrease in fundraising volume in 2018, over the past year the sector’s activity has grown considerably, generating a large number of transactions in both the primary and secondary markets.

At this session, our guest speakers, Miguel Zurita, Managing Partner at Altamar Capital Partners and Chairman of the Spanish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (ASCRI), and Juan López del Alcázar, Transaction Advisory Services Leader and Head of Private Equity at EY Spain, will discuss their vision of the private equity market, the types of sectors in which most transactions are now taking place, the resulting valuations and multiples, and the new trends in the industry.

Speakers:

Miguel Zurita, Managing Partner at Altamar Capital Partners and Chairman of the Spanish Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (ASCRI)

Juan López del Alcázar, Transaction Advisory Services Leader and Head of Private Equity at EY Spain
