How do you position yourself in the job market? Have you identified the message you want to convey? Do you know what your personal brand is?
At this Esade Alumni Careers workshop, you will learn how to communicate your personal brand. You will decide what you want to communicate with your target audience and define the message of your personal brand. This message will be adapted to some key concepts of personal brand communication, including your personal brand profile, personal brand statement, claim and elevator pitch.
Having properly defined your message, we will then analyse how it can be applied to traditional communication actions. We will also discuss personal image, networking and the creation of relevant content through talks, articles, books, etc.
The last part of the workshop will focus on how to use digital communication tools to effectively convey your value proposition. We will talk about websites, personal blogs, the main social networks as means of strengthening your personal brand, SEO and SEM actions, and other digital marketing tools that will allow you to strengthen, measure and analyse your online personal brand communication.
Xavi Roca (Lic&MBA ‘98)
Over a career spanning more than 20 years, Xavi Roca has combined his work as a business executive (Lamolla, 1998-2000; Fira de Lleida, 2004-2008; Ros Roca SRN, 2008-2009; Sage Eurowin, 2009-2013) with his role as a consultant and entrepreneur. At present, he also sits on the board of Aritmos. In 2001, he founded a marketing consultancy business called Smart Marketing. He is also a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach specialised in helping professionals and executives to discover, develop, apply and communicate their dominant talents.
In 2015, he published a book entitled 'Desmárcate – desarrolla con éxito tu marca personal'.
