THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED

The ESADE Alumni People Management and Organisation Club is pleased to invite you to its forthcoming talk: “A strategic view of people management from the standpoint of the Randstad CEO.”

In today’s complex and volatile world, companies increasingly regard technology and talent as the cornerstones of their strategic plans.

A company’s ability to attract, develop and engage talent and create a style of leadership that encourages it is crucial for the excellent performance needed to ensure corporate sustainability.

We would like to invite you to this talk by Rodrigo Martin, executive chairman of Randstad Spain and CEO of Randstad in Latin America. On the basis of his long career in this company, Rodrigo will outline his view of the importance of human resources, how corporate culture affects HR management, the new challenges facing this sector, and the rules for organising, motivating, leading and engaging an effective team.

Rodrigo Martín

Rodrigo Martín Velayos is the executive chairman of Randstad Spain, and the CEO of Randstad in Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay).

Rodrigo Martín was born in Madrid and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and economics from Universidad Complutense, Madrid, and a PMD (Programme for Management Development) from IESE. Since entering Randstad in 1997, he has been the company’s director of finance and IT, and, in earlier stages, its director of operations and key accounts.

The executive chairman of Randstad has extensive knowledge of the market and industry in which the company operates thanks to his experience as a member of its executive committee and as the head of integrating Vedior and USG into the Randstad group in Spain, amongst other responsibilities.
Prior to joining Randstad, he worked at Antena3 TV and Accenture in areas and projects related to organisation, management control and strategy.
