The Esade Alumni Senior Club is organising a tour of the exhibition “Objects of Desire: Surrealism and Design, 1924-2020”.
CaixaForum Barcelona presents an experience that shows how surrealism was inspired by design and everyday objects. However, the impact of design on this artistic movement, especially after the Second World War, is not very well known.
The exhibition explores the bi-directional exchanges between surrealism and design, juxtaposing surrealist works of art and outstanding design pieces from the last hundred years.
