'The Trump Administration, Brexit and the Catalan economy' by Professor F. Xavier Mena

Catalan

The ESADE Alumni Girona Club and ESADE are pleased to invite you to ''The Trump Administration, Brexit and the Catalan economy'', a talk by Prof. F. Xavier Mena, chair of economics at Ramon Llull University and associate professor at ESADE. This talk will be part of the presentation of the following ESADE programs to be taught at Olot:

- SME globalisation programme
- Programme for Leadership Development - PLD

The Trump administration wants to change the direction of the world economy based on the ''America first'' premise, particularly trade relations, corporate energy costs and other economic variables such as exchange rates and interest rates.

On the other hand, the Brexit negotiations between the European Union and the UK have begun with very uncertain expectations.

These risks, plus others such as European sanctions against Russia, are contributing to a scenario giving cause for concern to exporters, industry and the Catalan economy as a whole.

This conference will examine these uncertainties for 2017 and possible solutions.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
