With the outbreak of coronavirus in Spain and the establishment of the Alarm State, the lives of foreigners living in Spain have been dramatically affected.
Throughout this webinar, we are set to solve how this unprecedented situation is affecting the different immigration procedures and how the legal status of those expats who are living in Spain will change.
Even though we will focus basically on the student status, we will also explore alternative paths that may be of interest to all of them in the near future.
We will speak as well about the Student Visa, Highly Qualified Workers Visa, Entrepreneurs, and other related matters.
The webinar will be hosted by Cristian Balcells, CEO of Balcells Group.
Being a native of Barcelona, Cristian studied at Esade Law School and at the London School of Economics. After doing an internship for the UN in Geneva (in the Human Rights Commission), he then followed his entrepreneurial nature and in 2009 started his own Law Firm: Balcells International Lawyers Group; specialized in Business, Immigration, Tax, and Real Estate. Several years later, and understanding how the legal market was in need of online solutions, he also created the site Immigration Lawyers Spain, a platform whose aim is to solve the immigration needs in Spain & Andorra of foreigners worldwide online. His companies attend more than 10.000 clients per year. This journey concludes in him become a diplomat; General Consul of the Republic of Belarus and an active member of the Consular Corp and international community in Catalonia.
