We've been invaded by mutants! Neuroscience applied to digitally transformed experiences, by Lluís Martínez-Ribes (Lic&MBA 76)

Programa de continuidad | Spanish

July 01 OF 2019 from 03:30 PM to 05:00 PM

ESADE Alumni is pleased to invite you to this session in the refresher programme (with new summer timetable) entitled 'We’ve been invaded by mutants! Neuroscience applied to digitally transformed experiences', by Lluis Martínez Ribes (Lic&MBA 76), associate professor in the ESADE marketing department.

Learning method (very important for session participation)
A quick look at a learning method used increasingly by ESADE: Flipped Learning. Participants arrive with a “theory” they have already learned and then the session can be more experiential.

People who register for the session should read two on-line technical notes and then do a simple test. After passing the test they will receive a 'passport' to take part in the session. No one is admitted without this passport.

This will ensure that we are all co-learners.

Summary
For the last few years, since the iPhone appeared to be precise, we are no longer aware of whether we are online or offline. People today live in an OnOff world. In fact, we’ve become OnOff beings.

This has changed how with interact with others, our attitudes, our behaviour and, of course, how we buy, in both the retail context and when making corporate purchases.

In this session, Lluís Martínez-Ribes will explain how to make a digitally transformed experience (e.g. using apps, websites, etc.) enjoyable for the user’s or client’s brain. He will also explain what physical spaces (e.g. a store, a factory visit, etc.) for OnOff people should be like.

In short, this session will not focus on 'digital transformation', but on how to create a brain-pleasing experience for people who have already been transformed: OnOff people.
