What is Blockchain, and how will it change our lives? by Carlo Sala

Spanish

The ESADE Alumni Andorra Chapter is pleased to invite you to their forthcoming conference entitled ‘What is Blockchain and how will it change our lives?’ by Carlo Sala, professor in the ESADE department of finance.

We are on the threshold of the fourth industrial revolution. Technological innovation is radically changing how the world works. Blockchain is one example of disruptive technology that might have the same impact as the arrival of internet in its time. The most famous product in the blockchain world is Bitcoin.

But what is blockchain and how does it work? What is proof of work and why is it a fantastic solution when trustworthiness is at stake? What do miners do? And what does all this have to do with Bitcoin? And with your life?

We will have the participation of:

Miquel Gouarré and Marta Ambor executive members of the AndBlockchain Commission within the Andorran Business Confederation (CEA) dedicated to the new Blockchain technology, disruptive and democratizing innovation of the Trust globally. They will explain to us the objective they have of developing projects with Blockchain technology in the country and their idea of creating the virtual currency 'Virtus, Unita, Fortior' of the Andorra shield.

See you there!
