English

October 18 OF 2017 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

The ESADE Alumni California Chapter is holding ''What the future of work holds and are you ready for it?'' a talk by Professor Alex Makarevich on Wednesday October 18th at 6pm.

In this interactive talk based on recent research with his colleagues, Alex will share some of the latest thinking about the future of work. The talk will focus on 10 key areas in which significant changes have been happening which have the potential to alter how we work and what we think about it.

The discussion will cover topics such as the combination of work and leisure in people’s daily schedules; alternative modes/locations/social context of work; the mix of skills and attitudes required for success in the workplace of the future; portfolio employment; and determinants of work satisfaction in the future.

Participants will be invited to share their ideas about and experiences with changes in the workplace and how they affect their productivity, attitudes, and satisfaction. Key questions to assess one’s readiness for the future of work will be offered.

Joining us to share their views about the future of the industry and its key factors will be Vía Célere, one of Spain’s leading property developers and a success story in this industry, and IREA, one of the most acclaimed consultants in this sector. Juan Antonio Gómez-Pintado will analyse the case of Vía Célere: an example of the new management models shaping the new phase in the real-estate market.

We look forward to seeing you there!
