Workshop: 'How to outsource IT for your start-up without losing your mind'

ESADE Alumni Entrepreneurship is holding a workshop to help you outsource the IT you need to get your start-up off the ground on Monday, January 15th at 7:00 pm, at Building 1, ESADE Barcelona (Av. Pedralbes, 60-62).

This workshop is intended for entrepreneurs who are not tech savvy and who need to hire a company or freelance to develop a technological platform for their start-up.

This workshop will offer guidelines and methods for avoiding unnecessary complications, misunderstandings, vague delivery dates and other common problems.

Contents

- Steps involved in outsourcing.
- Protocol for working with external developers.
- Necessary materials and documents.
- How to deal with estimates.
- Good practices and examples.

Oscar Vayreda

Oscar currently divides his time between helping entrepreneurs and investors create successful start-ups and helping companies make the most of digital transformation opportunities.

His first experience as an entrepreneur was in 1996 as the co-founder and CTO of an e-learning start-up. In 2008 he co-founded Digital Seed where he was CEO until it was bought out by another company in October 2012.

He has worked in multinational companies (IBM), SMEs (GECSA) and as a freelance (consultant) in industries ranging from consulting (IBM), technology (Lotus Development), communication / advertising (Abilbo), knowledge management (GECSA), marketing (Digital Seed) and e-learning (Retelcom).

He has taught master programmes (UPC and IQS), degree programmes (URL) and other types of qualifications.
