Have you heard of the U generation (unretired)?
This is the generation that decides to carry on working after the age of 65 and pursue their career (sometimes without being paid). Like them, increasing numbers of people feel that, despite reaching retirement age, they would like to carry on working.
Working retirement may appeal to many but a lot of questions remain to be answered. Is it possible to work whilst receiving a state pension? Do different rules apply to employees and the self-employed? What kind of workers work during retirement? What sort of volunteering opportunities are available?
This flash session held by ESADE Alumni Careers will answer these and other questions with speakers sharing their personal experience. The session will be followed by a networking breakfast.
