Esade Alumni Social Ventures welcomes you to an interactive webinar entitled “Better Corporate Reporting of non-Financial Information” by José Manuel Sedes. The enactment of Spanish law 11/2018 about non-financial information and diversity caused an upsurge in corporate reporting by making the disclosure of consolidated accounts compulsory, from 2019 onwards, for companies that are incorporated or have 500+ employees, and also, from 2021 onwards, the disclosure of non-financial and diversity information compulsory for companies with 250+ employees. These reports must detail the impact of their own business and that of their subsidiary companies upon the environment and social matters, and also their policies (aims, measures implemented and outcomes) related to diversity, human rights and the prevention of corruption and bribery. This webinar will explain the best practices regarding non-financial corporate reporting in compliance with Law 11/2018 and the main international regulations in this field, and examine the development and implementation of sustainability and corporate responsibility strategies. This workshop will equip officers in charge of corporate reporting with the knowledge and skills needed to lead and manage the writing and distribution of non-financial information status reports.
