Can a local family firm become a global leader?

Spanish

The ESADE Alumni Finance Club is pleased to invite you to their forthcoming talk, 'Can a local family firm become a global leader?'

The Spanish economy consists of a great many SMEs that account for 70% of its GNP. Something of a natural selection between winners and losers has taken place in the last ten years, beginning with the crisis of 2008 and gathering pace during the technological and digital revolution now under way. Two key factors have separated winners from losers: talent and globalisation. Venture capital, a crucial factor in this process, has helped many local family firms consolidate themselves in strategic, operative and financial terms and become global leaders in their respective industries.
