'Culture vs entertainment at tourist destinations' by Prof. Josep F. Valls

Spanish

December 06 OF 2016 from 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM

The ESADE Alumni Colombia Chapter is pleased to invite you to ''Culture vs entertainment at tourist destinations'', a talk by Josep F. Valls, a professor in ESADE’s Department of Marketing Management and a professor at Ramon Llull University, to take place in Bogota on Tuesday, December 6 at 19:00.

According to a survey of tourists in Barcelona carried out by ESADE’s international tourist innovation programme, mass tourism tends to prefer entertainment rather than culture, and  high-profile experiences rather than authenticity. The question is how entertainment and high-profile experiences can be gateways to culture and authenticity.

Don’t miss this opportunity to keep abreast of the latest developments and expand your circle of professional contacts.

The talk will be followed by a Christmas networking cocktail. Save the date and sign up to book your seat! Guests are welcome, just register them when you sign up.
