The challenge of a new challenge.

Career changes are crucial and very difficult processes involving a new company, in-house promotion, etc. “If only I’d known about xyz when I started this job, I would have achieved my goals earlier.” The first one hundred days of a new leader are scrutinised and the first ten days are of prime importance because they are seen as an insight into the leader’s future success. In the professional landscape, the same thing happens when one accepts a new job.

The aim of this Esade Alumni Careers flash session is to give participants good advice about what they should do before, during and after leaving a company in order to have the least possible impact on their professional image, and what they should never forget to do before, during and after joining a company in order to be successful in their new job.
