ESADE Alumni Entrepreneurship is organising a talk about how to go about a seed round of investment with business angels. The speaker will be Pau Barbarà, manager of ESADE BAN and Alumni Entrepreneurship. The talk will take place on Tuesday, May 21st 2019 at 7pm at ESADE Madrid (Calle Mateo Inurria, 25-27, 28036 Madrid).

This talk will discuss the key factors to ensure your start-up a successful seed round of investment with business angels and other private investors.

Is it possible to raise funds for your project? What are the minimum requirements you must fulfil? What sort of investor are you looking for? How should you organise the round of finance? How can you make your start-up stand out from all the others in the market? These are a few of the issues to be examined.

This talk is intended for entrepreneurs with a start-up at the seed investment stage or who are preparing for a seed round of investment, and also future entrepreneurs interested in finding out all about this procedure.

Pau Barbarà
Pau Barbarà graduated in International Business Economics from Universidad Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and pursued his studies at Boston College (Carroll School of Management) and ESADE Business School.
He is currently the coordinator of ESADE BAN, winner of the EBAN award for the best Business Angel Network in Europe. ESADE BAN studies more than 500 start-ups every year and raises some €5m in early-stage funding. Previously, Pau was a consultant for entrepreneurs in the Catalunya Emprèn programme and a business co-operation officer at ACCIÓ (Generalitat of Catalonia).
